Guidelines to Prepare for Your Session
At M2H Counseling Services, we utilize a secure teletherapy platform to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of our clients. This platform allows our clients to attend therapy sessions from the comfort of their own homes while still receiving the same level of professional care and support. If you have any questions about how our teletherapy platform works or would like to schedule a session, please feel free to reach out to us. Find comfort in our request for clients to prepare by arriving in a quiet, private space 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
Understanding Our Cancellation Procedure
Our intentional strategy, Acuity Scheduling, ensures mutual respect between therapist and client by outlining cancelation policies clearly.
Therapeutic Contract: Cancellation Policies
As stated in our therapeutic contract, it is important for both the client and therapist to adhere to specific cancellation policies to ensure continuity of care.
Cancellation Window:
Clients are requested to provide a minimum 24-hour notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This advance notice allows for the opportunity to offer the timeslot to another client in need of support.
Cancellation Fee:
Appointments that are canceled with less than a 24-hour notice or missed entirely will incur a cancellation fee. This fee is intended to cover some of the costs associated with the reserved time that went unused.
Exceptions:
Exceptions to this policy may be made in cases of sudden emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Your therapist will assess these situations on an individual basis with understanding and flexibility.
Communication:
In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please ensure timely communication. You can reach out to us via phone or email to make the necessary adjustments.
By agreeing to this contract, both the client and therapist acknowledge and agree to these cancellation policies, understanding that they are in place to support the continuity of care and respect for one another's time.
